"You and your f*cking Christmas pageant dress, sit back and shut the f*ck up."

Finally, the day is here!

Our advent now must end.

We’ve Zoom-ed with all our loved ones

And texted all our friends.

We’ve eaten up our Christmas feasts,

We couldn’t eat much more!

I heard you digest faster

If you’re splayed across the floor.

We’re snuggled up with lovers,

Family, roommates, a pet,

Or in our studio apartment

With a weighted blank-et.

But before Christmas day

Bids her final adieu,

I have one last present

Saved just for you.
